Home for Good believes that the Church has a vital role to play in finding great homes for children who need them. We believe that local churches are ideally placed to be great communities of welcome. We long to see more churches across the UK engaging more deeply with God’s call to care for children who cannot grow up with their birth families.
A Home for Good Church is a church that has made a commitment to journey more closely with us and to serve families who foster, adopt or offer supported lodgings. It’s a church that actively opts-in to partner with Home for Good as together, we find a home for every child who needs one.
As part of the journey process, a Home for Good Church will make a set of commitments. But this is a relationship – a two-way partnership. Home for Good will also make commitments to your church. So, for example:

This initiative is about partnership and relationship so, there’s more involved than completing an online form. The process of becoming a Home for Good Church begins with a face-to-face conversation and a chance for us to explore together what this journey might look like for you and your church.
