At Safe Families and Home for Good, we believe that together, we can find a home for every child who needs one.
For many of us, our homes are not just the places where we live. They are places of safety and belonging.
For those who have the opportunity to own their own home, a home can also represent the greatest financial asset they have. For some, homes hold treasured possessions.
In our homes, we hold examples and stories of hard work, gifts, and loved ones.
Imagine the transformative difference that a legacy gift to Safe Families and Home for Good in your will could make in enabling many more children and teenagers to be welcomed into homes and families where they will be safe, loved and cared for.

While we welcome gifts that can be used for general purposes so we can meet our most urgent needs, you can direct your gift to a particular project or area. The team at Safe Families and Home for Good would love to have a conversation with you about how you might want your gift to be spent.
There are 3 different types of gifts you can leave in your will.
This type of gift is a share of your estate, for example 5%. Many people divide their estate into 100 equal units. After giving to family and loved ones, they then give a percentage to Safe Families. Unlike a cash gift, leave a share or percentage of your estate means your gift won’t devalue over time.
A cash gift, known as a pecuniary gift, is a fixed sum of money, for example, £5,000. These gifts are paid out of your estate first, and then what is left is divided up as per the instructions in your will.
A specific gift is a nominated object, for example, artwork, a collection of records, jewellery or an antique. If you want to keep a particular item in your family, then this is a good way to pass the item on.
You can also speak directly with your own solicitor and advise them that you would like to support Safe Families and Home for Good in your will.
You will simply need to provide our name and address and registered charity number:
