Home for Good: Suffolk host many opportunities to help connect families in Suffolk who foster, adopt, have special guardianship or provide supporting lodgings.

These operate in term time run by their volunteer activity hosts such as:

• 6 monthly coffee and chat’s – Hadleigh, Saxmundham, Ipswich, Lowestoft, Sudbury, Debenham
• 4 monthly stay and play sessions – Ipswich & Sudbury
• Monthly Weekend play and craft sessions – Clare and Lowestoft
• Monthly TEENS night – Ipswich
• Monthly Zoom for adopters caring for children with additional needs
• Monthly wellbeing walks – Ipswich, Woodbridge and Lowestoft
• Termly Saturday play for children and young people with additional needs – Ipswich

They also put on special holiday activities usually around Christmas, Easter and during the summer holidays

Other services include

Home for Good recognises how valuable peer-to-peer support groups can be for carers and adoptive parents and we know that groups connect people who encourage and support each other in amazing ways. We resource facilitators of peer-to-peer groups and signpost people to groups that meet in their area.
