Our agreements

Home for Good exists to find a home for every child who needs one. We believe the UK Church is ideally placed to respond to this need, by families stepping forward to open their hearts and homes to vulnerable children. As families explore and pursue fostering, adoption and supported lodgings, we want to journey with them and ensure that they are valued and respected, and that their faith motivation is understood.

We know that we don’t need to become a fostering or adoption agency to do this, because there are already great local authorities (LAs), voluntary adoption agencies (VAAs) and not-for-profit independent fostering agencies (IFAs) keen to welcome prospective foster carers and adopters, who recognise the role of faith. We have agreements with many of them for our Pathway to Adoption and Pathway to Fostering.

We deliver Faith Literacy Training to those we have agreements with and they are keen to receive applications from people motivated by faith to foster or adopt.

Those we have fostering/adoption agreements with are not only faith-friendly, but they also have a passion for finding homes for the children who wait the longest for the right foster placement or adoptive family – older children and teenagers, sibling groups, children with black or ethnic minority heritage, and children with complex needs.

If you're exploring fostering or adoption, make an enquiry to connect with one of the Agencies we have agreements with.

If you represent a local authority, voluntary adoption agency or not-for-profit independent fostering agency, please get in touch.
